Yes, we allow friendly, well-behaved dogs in the campground; However, dogs are NOT allowed in our cabins. All dogs be MUST be on a leash and have rabies vaccine. However, dogs are NOT allowed in our cabins.
Yes. There is unlimited riding Our property boarders National Forest. We have gates with direct access to the National Forest. The beauty of riding in the National Forest is that you can go anywhere you like. If you love to explore, you'll love it here!

20 foot gooseneck stock trailer that will hold up to 6 horses
16 foot bumper pull that will fit 4 horses.

No. You will need to trailer to the trailhead to ride to Mount Rushmore. We do rent trailers by the day.
Yes. There is a grocery store and many restuarants in Custer. It's about a 10 minute drive.

JUNE, JULY, & AUGUST: CHECK IN BEGINS AT 3:00 pm and ENDS at 8:00pm.

South Dakota is a Brand State. You will not need an inspection to enter the state, but you will need one to leave the brand inspection area. We have a list of brand inspectors. If you call them, they will come to the camp and do the inspection. You can get a temporary travel permit or a Lifetime Inspection. We can give you more info upon arrival.
